Patricia Rushing Anneus married Roland Anneus in 1996. They have one son, Jeremiah. She loves her family and says this is her first ministry.
Since 1992 she has been a member of Christ Bible Discipleship Worship Center and serves as an Elder. She enjoys teaching and preaching the Word of God and is a member of the Church’s Counseling Team. Patricia has worked as a Social Worker and Counselor for the past 35 years. In both settings, Patricia has shown genuine compassion for people and her desire is to see people overcome their struggles.
Patricia has experienced the pain of heart wounds that she did not deal with, which lead to a wounded spirit. She is now finding freedom in Christ and is helping others experience that same freedom.
In 2018, The Lord placed a heavy burden in Patricia’s heart for those who have heart wounds. He showed her that the body of Christ is wounded. They are teaching, preaching, diligently working in the church, sitting in the pews, yet wounded. God wants his body free so that they can minister freedom to a hurting world.
As a result of the burden God placed on her heart for the wounded, she completed the devotional, “This is Where It Hurts.” Her promise from God was, “If you finish it, I will breathe on it.” Anything that God breathes on brings life. Patricia brings hope and life wherever she goes.
